In March Melbourne hosted the 2006 Commonwealth Games. What are the Commonwealth Games? Good question. We were asking the same thing. The Commonwealth games are a small scale Olympics. With only the 72 countries comprising the Commowealth competing. Rob and Kristin were able to attend some of the Track and Field events. We also watched some of the cycling competition. The race course was on Beach Road, which is a short walk from our home. It was a huge event for Melbourne. And with all of the activities going on in the city, it turned out to be a lot of fun.
